An all time favorite date of ours is to see a movie at the artsy, yet sophisticated, Charles Theater paired with dinner and drinks at the adjoining restaurant, Tapas Teatro (inviting, hip and delicious). Both are located one block north of Penn Station on North Charles Street. On warm nights you can sit outside to eat and watch interesting people come and go -- once I saw a cop let a pretty lady test drive his Segway up and down the street! Incidentally, Tapas Teatro is a sister restaurant to The Helmand. Both are owned by the brother of Hamid Karzai (president of Afghanistan). Small world, huh?
